What Is Android Auto?
Android Auto connects your Android phone to your in-car display, creating a familiar interface with your favorite Android Apps. With Android Auto, you can more safely and easily get driving directions, talk to send a text, make hands-free calls, listen to your favorite music, and more.

Setup Guide
Wired Setup
- Start by connecting your smartphone to the USB-C data port located in the center console. The infotainment screen may ask you to unlock your phone when connecting to the vehicle.
- If prompted, be sure to approve Android Auto on your device. When using a compatible smartphone, a prompt may appear asking if you'd like to enable wireless connectivity as well.
- After connecting, the Android Auto homescreen should automatically appear on your infotainment screen. In some cases, you may need to press HOME and then select Android Auto to initiate the connection.
Wireless Setup
- To set up a new wireless Android Auto connection, start by pairing your phone via Bluetooth. Make sure that Bluetooth is turned on and active on your smartphone device.
- On your infotainment screen, press SETUP > DEVICE CONNECTIONS > ADD.
- Ensure that the Bluetooth pairing codes match on the phone and vehicle screen, then select your vehicle on your device and enable Android Auto when prompted.
- Compatible smartphones will next display a prompt asking if you would like to enable wireless Android Auto connectivity.
- If enabled, Android Auto should automatically connect on your vehicle's infotainment screen.
- Wireless connectivity will be saved and connect automatically each time your Genesis is turned on, and a registered smartphone device is connected.
